Lions Dangles
I'm not much of a footy fan, but a while ago now, a friend of mine rescued a baby magpie, cared for it, loved it, and now it has become a much loved part of their family. It lives free, but stays close to home, and plays with the kids, and actually hugs! It's very cute!
This friend asked me to make some magpie earrings. And then Collingwood made it to the AFL grand final (much to a few other friends and family of mine's delight!) and so - I thought now was definitely the time to bring these creations to life. BUT seeing as my Dad and Step Mum are Brisbane Lions fans - I didn't want to appear to be favoring one side 😜...
These super lightweight earrings have a total earring length = 42mm (20mm at their widest point). And as always they are backed with hypoallergenic Surgical Steel posts and clasps.
